Please come along. This is my community putting on a party! The festival emanates from the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club. A truly grass roots celebration where the folk kick in with whatever skill they have on offer. Check out the website: there's music, dancing, visual art, workshops... As one of the Club's storytellers, I've worked with some mates to put together these spoken word events. Come and listen to some of the best and enjoy lunch, then stick around for Stories by the Fire and bring a story or song to share.
